American Red Cross volunteers have responded to 14 Central Pennsylvania home fires in the past seven days, caring for 69 people from 21 families. Right now Red Cross Responders are making sure those impacted have immediate access to shelter, food, clothing, replacement medications, as well as a comforting shoulder and guidance during their recovery process.
When disaster strikes, the American Red Cross is one of the first organizations to respond. We provide more than just quick fixes. We will be here for weeks and months to come, supporting families with a steady hand as they recover from these devastating home fires.
As we move into the winter season, please take a moment to prepare your home and family with these fire safety tips.
