Harrisburg man arrested on rape charges

A Harrisburg man is behind bars on multiple charges involving rape.  On Wednesday, November 6, officials at Hershey Medical Center alerted  Swatara Township Police  about an apparent assault victim being treated at the facility.

After brief a investigation police determined that the victim had been assaulted by 32 year old Victor Stamps. Township police assisted by Harrisburg City Police, took Stamps into custody on Thursday, November 8.

Charges against Stamp include Rape, Involuntary Deviant Sexual Intercourse, Unlawful Restraint, False Imprisonment, Aggravated Assault, Sexual Assault and Aggravated Indecent Assault. Following arraignment, Stamps was sent to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $5,250,000 bail.
