Penn State student falls to his death

A Penn State University student has died, after falling from an apartment balcony in State College.
The Centre County Coroner pronounced 20-year-old Conor MacMannis, of Stafford, Va.,  dead at the scene from head trauma.
Authorities say MacMannis fell from the ninth floor balcony of the Penn Towers Apartment Complex just before 4:00 a.m. Saturday. According to the Centre Daily Times, he was reportedly a resident of the complex.
Police believe drugs and alcohol played a role in the fall. The death has been ruled accidental.
