CLOUDS STREAM BACK IN

We’ll start the evening clear; however, high level clouds will return overnight and increase through the day tomorrow.  Lows will be chilly again in the mid to upper 20s to near 30 degrees. Winds will be light to calm.

AM Metrovision

A BIT MILDER

High pressure moves east setting up a flow out of the south-southeast which will pull in more moisture aiding in more cloud cover.  A system to the west will also push clouds our way in the late afternoon.  Highs will range from the upper 40s .

Where You Live

GAME CHANGING TEMPERATURES OVER THE WEEKEND

Cold front comes in late Friday and there could be a few showers especially towards evening.  A wave of low pressure will move in from the southwest along a cold front early Saturday morning keeping the threat for a few showers around.  Temperatures will be near seasonal averages in the low 50s for Friday and very early Saturday morning lows may remain near 40 degrees. Highs will get to the mid and upper 40s before taking a tumble as colder air spills in due to a potent upper level trough moving in for a couple of days. It will provide the coldest air of the season so far.

Conditions will turn blustery Sunday as the winds once again pick up out of the northwest and could trigger Lake Effect snow showers. High temperatures will remain in the mid 30s, well below average and with the winds, will feel much colder.

Cold air remains for Monday with morning lows in the low 20s and highs once again held in the mid 30s under mostly sunny skies.

HOLIDAY SNEAK PEAK

The next system looks to arrive for Tuesday as a cold front which may bring in colder air.  We should pick up a few showers from it but we will be watching an area of low pressure that is forecasted to develop in the Gulf and ride up the coast along the front for Wednesday, bringing a threat for rain or snow showers but right now, too much disparity amongst the models to know for sure.  This is an important travel day right before the Thanksgiving Holiday so we’ll be monitoring things closely.
