MILDER AIR:  Warmer air to the south will slowly nudge its way into Pennsylvania over the next few days.  Today, we expect the early mist and fog to break away to some sunshine by afternoon.  We’ll see the clouds fill back in later though.  Highs should top out in the upper 40s.  Tonight, we’re dry and in the mid 30s.  Wednesday, it’s mostly cloudy with temps near 50°.  A few showers may develop overnight into Thursday.

3 Day Planner

UNSETTLED LATE WEEK:  Thursday, we’ll see warmer air surge in ahead of the next shot at rain.  Highs should do the middle to upper 50s under generally cloudy skies.  Showers arrive later in the day and fill in after dark.  Rain looks likely for the day Friday, getting heavy later before tapering Saturday morning.  We could see it end as a few snowflakes.

NEXT ONE:  Saturday is a bit of a break, but colder air slips in with highs in the upper 30s.  By Sunday, a system to our south will gather steam and nudge northward.  This could bring some snow or freezing rain late Sunday into the overnight.  It appears as if warmer air will slide in though for Monday, turning the wintry weather mix to a cold rain.  It’s still several days away, so we need to keep monitoring this system, but stay alert.
