A pedestrian is struck and seriously injured in Shippensburg Borough. It happened at about 6:45 pm Wednesday along the 200 block of West King Street. Police say a 20 year old Shippensburg woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a vehicle.
The unidentified woman was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center. No word on the extend of her injuries. The driver of the vehicle did stop. So far no charges have been filed. Police say their investigation continues.
