PIAA football postponed due to weather


Due to weather, the PIAA semifinal high school football games scheduled for Friday night has been postponed and moved to Saturday.

Steel-High will play its game against at Old Forge at Harman-Geist Stadium in Hazleton Saturday. The game has been moved to 4 p.m.

Bishop McDevitt’s semifinal with Erie Cathedral Prep has been moved from Clearfield to DuBois. The game is postponed until Saturday at 5 p.m.

    So we are really not going to play football games because of rain and wind???? It is football, you play in rain and wind and snow…… And before anybody comments on mine about the safety of driving, imagine the weather people got it wrong and it will still be raining or snowing tomorrow and how many peoples plans you are ruining because of changing the times and fields. All over rain……
