FRIGID AIR: The cold air is here to stay. We’re well below the average highs and lows for the rest of the week. Today, we’ll top out in the low 30s after a frigid start. Tonight, we drop to the teens again as clouds slip into the state. We may see some flurries overnight. Thursday is colder with highs only in the middle 20s. Friday, we warm back to near 30°. Sun mixes with a few clouds today, and we’ll see more clouds to close out the week but it looks dry.
WEEKEND: Clouds and cold air are in play as our next system moves in on Saturday. Snow will start with some freezing rain and rain mixing in late Saturday into the overnight hours before tapering as some snow. We’ll need to hammer out the details over the next few days, but it looks a bit sloppy Saturday into Sunday. Highs will be near freezing.
NEXT WEEK: It looks cold and dry for now. Temps fall back hold in the 30s for highs with clouds mixing out the sunshine at times.
