Cumberland County armed robbery suspect arrested in Philadelphia

U.S. Marshals arrested a suspect wanted for armed robbery in Cumberland County in Philadelphia early this morning.  Last month, the Upper Allen Township Police requested the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force to assist in locating 31 year Justin Matthews.

Police say that on November 5, Matthews and other accomplices robbed four victims at gun point at the victim’s home in Mechanicsburg.  Early Thursday morning, U.S. Marshals and task force officers located and arrested Matthews without incident in Philadelphia.

Charges against Matthews include Robbery, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Conspiracy to commit Robbery.
