A Dauphin County man is being held on a rape charge. Swatara Township Police have accused Eric Garonzik, 43, of Forcible Rape and Sexual Assault that they say happened last September in a parking lot in the 7400 block of Derry Street. Investigators say Garonzik knew the victim.
Garonzik was taken into custody last Friday. Following arraignment he was sent to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for next month.
