A Dauphin County man is charged with Impersonating a Public Servant and Reckless Endangerment.  Zachary Helsel, 20, of Middletown, claimed to be a paramedic and provided medical treatment to someone having a medical emergency and told them they did not have to go the hospital.  The incident happened on Wednesday December 4.

After receiving the alleged treatment and diagnosis from Helsel the victim’s condition continued to worsen and he eventually had to be transported to a hospital via ambulance. Charges against Helsel, were filed on Tuesday  of this week.  He faces a preliminary hearing next month.
