A Lancaster City woman is charged after an argument ends with her husband suffering a gunshot wound to his hand. It happened just before 8 o’clock this morning inside the couple’s home in the 500 block of Burrowes Avenue.
Investigators say during the argument, Lisa Nogueras, 51, produced a semi-automatic handgun. In a struggle over the weapon, her 48 year old husband was shot in the hand. He was treated for the non-life threatening injury at a local hospital.
Nogueras faces a charge of Aggravated Assault. After failing to post $40,000 bail she was sent to Lancaster County Prison.
No word on why the couple got into an argument.
