Target has admitted to a security breach of 40 million combined credit and debit cards that occurred between November 27th and December 15th. Only the in-store purchases seem to be affected, not the online store.
Target advises it’s customers, that have shopped in it’s stores, during this time, to check their statements carefully for any unauthorized activity. If you spot any unauthorized activity, you are to call your credit card company and then Target at 1-866-852-8680.
