Lower Allen Township police are looking for a Harrisburg man involved in a theft from the Sears store at the Capital City Mall.

Police responded to a witness that reported seeing the suspect leaving the mall in a white Chrysler Sebring with PA registration JKS-0807.

Police spotted the vehicle along the 2400 block of Gettysburg Road and when they attempted to stop the vehicle, it took off. The vehicle was last seen going East on Gettysburg Road towards Lemoyne, officers did not pursue the vehicle.

According to police, the operator of the vehicle was not the registered owner but police later  identified the driver as Sengphet Vilaysane, 39, from the first block of Cameron Street in Harrisburg.

Vilaysane does have a warrant out for his arrest on charges of retail theft, fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless driving and driving under suspension.

Vilaysane is also additionally facing charges from Harrisburg City police and PA State police in Harrisburg.
