Police in Lancaster County arrest five suspects in an out of state theft ring thanks to an alert neighbor. Northern Lancaster County Regional Police responded over the weekend to a report of suspicious activity along the 600 block of Hopeland Road in Clay Township.

Police received a call at about 8:24 pm Saturday evening, that two men were seen pushing a new four wheel ATV out from the woods behind a home. The caller also reported seeing a Ford U-Haul truck leaving and coming back in the area.  Responding officers found the truck along with five suspects.

An investigation determined that the suspects had been using internet auction sites to pinpoint names and addresses of persons selling ATV’s. Once identified,one or more of the suspects utilized GPS and cell phones to visit the suspects’ home.  Waiting for the right time, they would secretly return with the other gang members to steal the vehicles for eventual resale. The group used rented U-Haul trucks to haul away the stolen vehicles.

The suspects are identified as:

* Yaishree Caquino, 25, Atlantic City, New Jersey

* Alicia Brown, 22, Pleasantville, New Jersey

* Jaimee Ippoliti, 36, Philadelphia

* Francisco Roman, 42, Pleasantville, New Jersey

* Carlos Soler, 25, Atlantic City, New Jersey

All five suspects were arraigned and taken to Lancaster County Prison.
