A Lancaster man has been arrested in connection to a string of robberies across Lancaster County.

Police say 29-year-old Arieset Galarza-Ruiz is responsible for robbing several businesses in Manheim Township, East Lampeter Township and Lancaster City between October and December of 2013.

Lancaster City police alone have linked Galarza-Ruiz with five market and convenience store robberies beginning with the Oct. 27 robbery of the J&K Supermarket located along the 500 block of New Holland Avenue.

He was also involved in two robberies on Nov. 11 and Dec. 16 at the Turkey Hill on the 700 block of North Plum Street, a second robbery of the J&K Supermarket on Dec. 12 and a Dec. 17 robbery at the Sunoco gas station located at 777 New Holland Avenue.

Police say Galarza-Ruiz also broke into a home on the 700 block of New Holland Avenue on Oct. 2.

Galarza-Ruiz has been charged in seven separate cases and is charged with nine counts of robbery, four counts of retail theft,  four counts of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and one count of burglary.

He was taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $600,000 bail .

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 27.
