State police are investigating a deadly crash in Lancaster County.
According to a press release, the crash happened around 5:15a.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of Old Church Road in East Drumore Township.
Police say a 20-year-old male was driving a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on church Road, when he lost control of the car. The car traveled off the eastbound shoulder and through the intersection of Scotland Road.
Police then say the car slammed into an embankment on Church Road and the driver was thrown from the vehicle.
The car slammed into a porch before stopping.
Police say the driver was thrown about 180 feet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are not releasing the name of the driver.
