A Hanover, York County man is behind bars in Maryland on multiple charges including Attempted Murder. Jeffrey Allan Hacker, Sr. is accused of breaking into the home of a Carroll County woman and attempting to strangle her with a phone cord. Hacker was arrested by county sheriff’s deputies late last night.
Additional charges against Hacker include Reckless Endangerment, Stalking, Malicious Destruction of Property, Stalking, Assault and Burglary. He is being held without bail at the Carroll County Detection Center in Westminster. A bail hearing is set for next week.
