A man was killed and two others injured after a head-on crash along Route 441 in East Donegal Township late Saturday night, police said.
According to police reports, the crash happened around 11:15 p.m. when a southbound vehicle driven by 30-year-old Shannon Thurman, of Wrightsville, crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle driven by 56-year-old Wagdy Behnam Abdel Shaheed.
Shaheed, of Marietta, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lancaster County Coroner’s office.
Thurman was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.
Thurman’s passenger, William E. Fox, 33, of Marietta, was also injured and taken to Lancaster General Hospital.
