A Waynesboro man man dies in a single vehicle crash in Franklin County. It happened at about 11:40 this morning along the 10000 block of Anthony Highway in Washington Township. Police say Donald W. Funkhouser was headed north when his 1993 Honda Accord slid out of control on a curve.
The car went off the right side of the roadway and struck two utility poles before flipping over onto its roof. Funkhouser was pronounced dead at the scene. An unidentified passenger in the car was transported to Waynesboro Hospital. No word on the victim’s condition.
