Three people are displaced following an apartment fire in Harrisburg.
Harrisburg Bureau of Fire responded to a building fire just after noon on Sunday at 17 North 15th Street. Upon arrival on scene, crews said they saw heavy smoke coming from the second floor of a three-story wood framed apartment building.
The fire chief said it took a little over 15 minutes for crews to control the fire.
The fire did not spread any further than the second floor. Damages for the building are estimated at around $20,000.
Crews investigated the cause of the fire and determined it started in a kitchen stove. The fire was ruled to be accidental.
The three people that were displaced are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
