RECORD CHILL:  Arctic air and strong winds are combining to make for some of the coldest air we’ve felt in over a decade.  The last time we dipped below 0° in Harrisburg was in 1996.  Today, we have already broken the record low of 5° set in 1942.  The cold and windy weather puts winds chills into the -10s and -20s through the morning and day today.  Despite sunshine, actual temps will only make it to near 10°.  Tonight, winds slowly relax at temps return to the single digits.

IMPROVEMENT:  We warm on Wednesday to the middle 20s with increasing clouds.  Thursday we hit the low to mid 30s.  An isolated snow shower may slip in overnight into early Friday.  Friday looks mainly dry with partly cloudy skies and temps near 40°.

3 Day Planner

WEEKEND:   We warm up for the weekend, getting back to the upper 40s and low 50s!  We’ll see some rain Saturday but Sunday looks dry at this time with more rain late Sunday into Monday.

Stay warm this morning and today!!!
