Mother charged in shooting death of 8 year old son

A Franklin County mother is charged in the shooting death of her 8 year old son.  It happened last September at the home of Jessica Pfaff, 32, in the first block of Broad Street in Southhampton Township. The victim’s 6 year old brother, Matthew, took a loaded handgun found in his mother’s bedroom and shot his older brother, Alex in the head.

Pfaff claimed that she had been asleep and did not hear the shooting.  She told police that the boys had been sleeping on a couch in another room. Alex Pfaff, was taken to Hershey Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Pennsylvania State Police investigators obtained an arrest warrant today for Pfaff charging her with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Involuntary Manslaughter and two counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Pfaff faces a preliminary hearing on Monday, January 13.

Red-neck inbreds and guns don't mix.

There you go again with the slurs. Nobody, not even brilliant elites like you should ever keep a loaded weapon in the house. When you find the woman is inbred and can prove it, come on back and make your case.

A lesson for people who carelessly do not secure their weapons and ammunition from theft or children. Too many claim to own them for protection but end up aiding an unnecessary tragedy.
