Sunday’s mild temperatures had car washes hopping all across our area.
Drivers took advantage of a non-freezing day at Fast Lane Car Wash in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County to get the salt and grime off of their cars.
Auto experts say leaving residue from salt and cinders on your vehicle can cause rust spots.
Julio Jimenez, who was washing his car at Anderson Car Wash in York Township, York County says, “When you wash your car during the cold temperatures, the water freezes on to your car, which that causes more scratches and more stuff, like I picked today since today wasn’t that cold out here, it’s a little warm so it’s a nice day to wash your car.”
Monday is expected to be another day in the 40’s and a great opportunity to get your car sparkling clean.
