The cause of a three alarm fire in Uptown Harrisburg last week is ruled undetermined.  Harrisburg Fire Chief Brian Enterline says the ruling is due to the extensive damage in the room of the fire’s origin in a second floor apartment of the building along the 1900 block of North 2nd Street.

The fire broke out this before 4 pm last Friday. When the first fire crews arrived on the scene smoke and flames pouring from two buildings with two fire victims outside. The fire quickly escalated to three alarms with mutual aid crews responding from Steelton, Susquehanna Township, Swatara Township, Lower Paxton Township, New Cumberland and the West Shore Bureau of Fire.
