SHOWERS: We begin the day mild with scattered rain showers across the area. Showers will linger through the early afternoon before tapering by the evening hours. It won’t be an all day rain, but hit and miss showers will roam the area for a few hours of wet weather. Highs today top out in the upper 40s under mostly cloudy skies for one more day. Tonight, we fall to the low 30s.
TURNING COOLER: We’re not seeing any blast of really cold air, but we will cool off a bit. We’ll see an active pattern, with fast moving, weak spokes of energy racing by aloft. Wednesday, this will bring a clipper that will bring a few rain to snow showers, especially late. Highs are in the low 40s. Thursday it’s partly cloudy and in the middle 30s. Friday, another wave of energy may bring some light snow with highs nearing 40°.
WEEKEND: A colder wedge of air slips in for the weekend with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Some flurries are possible for Saturday with Sunday looking mostly dry. By Monday, we’re back to the 40s.
Have a terrific Tuesday!
