Carlisle police look for suspects in Subway robbery

Carlisle police are looking for a man and woman who they believe robbed a Subway restaurant Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called to the Subway restaurant at located at 25 W. Highs Street for reports of a robbery. Witnesses said around 3:15p.m. the two suspects entered the store and demanded money.

They then fled in a green 1997 GMC safari van that was last seen heading North on the first block of N. Pitt Street.

No weapon was displayed and no one was injured.

The two are being described as:¬†Male- Thin, in his late 20′s, about 6″-6’2″ tall, and wearing a black leather jacket and dark blue jeans.
¬†Woman- about 5’3″ -5’4″tall and was wearing a white hoodie and black jacket.

Carlisle surveillance cameras captured a picture of the van and the Subway’s security system caught a photo of the suspects, police said.

Anyone who can identify the suspects is asked to call Carlisle police at 717-243-5252.

    That van ought to be traced in less than a day.
