The driver of a tractor trailer involved a fatal chain reaction crash on Interstate 81 last year is charged. Pennsylvania State Police say Muniru Iddress, 30, was engaged in text messaging in the moments leading up to the collision. It happened on May 10, 2013, at milepost 57.1 in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County. A New York state couple, George and Kathy Weed, were killed in the collision.
Iddress, was arraigned today on charges of Homicide by Vehicle, Involuntary Manslaughter, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Reckless Driving and other summary violations. He was released on $100,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing.
