Car crashes through wall of eye doctor’s office

No one is injured when a car crashes through the wall of an eye doctor’s office in suburban Harrisburg Friday afternoon.  It happened just before 2 pm in the 4800 block of Londonderry Road in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County.

The driver was headed west on Londonderry Road when he suddenly lost control, ran off the roadway into the building. The vehicle, a Honda Civic, came to rest inside the waiting area of the office.

Workers late today boarded up the gaping hole in the building until repairs are made. No word on charges against the driver.

    What is going on with this loss of control and crashing into buildings? Living along our roads is becoming downright dangerous. I lost count on how many of these occured in the last week.
