State police arrested a Perry County man for alleged child abuse after a 3-month-old girl was brought to the hospital over the weekend with serious injuries.
Joshua Michael Gross, 33, of New Bloomfield, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to police reports, EMS were called to home in New Bloomfield on Saturday for a report of a 3-month old girl not breathing. The baby was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation uncovered that the injuries happened while the baby was in Gross’ care.
