Next clipper today: Cold with some snow

EVERY OTHER DAY:  Yeah, it seems to be the name of the game with the current jet-stream set-up.  Every other day we’ll see a clipper slipping through, bringing clouds and the shot at some light snow showers.  Today is a day with some snow showers, along with Saturday and Monday.  Friday and Sunday will bring a break with some sun.  Regardless, it’s staying cold with temps well below average.

3 Day Planner

CHILL TODAY:  Mostly cloudy skies with a light breeze are on deck for this Thursday.  We’ll see temps into the low 20s.  Scattered snow showers will slide through during the day, tapering in the evening.  Expect mainly under an inch where it does snow.

WEEKEND:  Friday looks dry and sunny, but chilly.  We begin in the single digits and end in the upper teens.  Saturday, the clouds return with another clipper to bring some snow showers with some light accumulation.  Highs reach the 30° mark!  Colder air settles in for a breezy and drier Sunday with some cold sunshine and highs in the middle 20s.

futurecast

Saturday’s clipper will bring some accumulating snow.

NEXT WEEK:  Monday we’ll be in the 20s with a clipper diving over us, bringing clouds and snow showers.  Then, colder air is reinforced with single digit lows and teens for highs for the middle part of the week.  It’s breezy too, adding to the already rough chilly air.  Keep the layers going folks!

Enjoy your Thursday!
