3 killed in Maryland mall shooting, police say

Three people were killed when a gunman opened fire Saturday at a mall in Howard County, Maryland, police said.

Shots rang out around 11:15 a.m. at the Columbia Mall located along the 10000 block of Little Patuxent Parkway.

Authorities put the mall on lockdown as they searched for the shooter.

Howard County Police tweeted one of the victims was found near a gun and ammunition. Police believe the suspected shooter is dead.

People inside mall are being asked to stay in place until police can clear each area safely.

The identities of the victims are unknown at this time.

    This is in MD. where only crimnals are allowed to have guns. Just saying.
