Police say a shooting has been reported at the Columbia Mall in Howard County, Maryland.
Howard County police tweeted this message just before 12 p.m. on Saturday: “There has been a confirmed shooting at the Columbia mall. a PIO (Public Information Officer) will be on scene shortly. No updates or new details yet..”
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the shooting.
Police are advising people to avoid the area if possible.
