Interstate 81 south is back open after being closed for much of the morning as police were on the scene of a shooting investigation at mile marker 18 in Greene Township, Franklin County.
The shooting happened around 7 a.m. There were no injuries as a result of this shooting, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
State Police said the current shooting incident is unrelated to the I-81 road rage shooting homicide on Jan. 4.
