The Trautwein family is changing their Super Bowl plans less than a week before the big game.   They will still be watching but thanks to the Harrisburg Stampede indoor football team, two of the family members will now see it in person at MetLife Stadium.    The Stampede announced the winner of their Super Bowl experience contest.   Brook Trautwein of Harrisburg was the name pulled at the drawing Monday afternoon at Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.

Brook’s wife Chris accepted the prize for him and had a difficult time convincing her husband he was going to the Super Bowl.

“He didn’t believe me.  My friend that’s with me called him for me and he didn’t believe me,”  she said.  “They had to put someone on from the Stampede office to convince him.   I’m not sure that he still believes what happened.”

The Trautwein’s have been season ticket holders for a few years.   You had to sign up to be a season ticket holder to be entered into the contest.   She has a 10-year old son that loves the Denver Broncos so she admits she will probably just let the boys go to the game.   The prize also includes two nights of lodging near the stadium and transportation to and from the game.
