UPDATE: Interstate 83 Northbound Lanes Have Reopened from Exit 22 to Exit 24 in York County

UPDATE:  Police have reopened I-83 from Exit 22 to Exit 24 in York County.  It shut down shortly after midnight.  Police aren’t releasing any information as to why the highway remained closed for four hours as they search the scene.

 

State police are on the scene of an incident on Interstate 83.  At this point the northbound lanes are shut down near mile marker 23 in York County, just past the Arsenal Road Exit.  Police are not releasing any information on what is going on.

    Exit 22 is North George Street and not the Arsenal Road exit.

    Update: A man, earlier spotted walking along I-83, was later found dead on the shoulder.
