Police seek to ID suspect in assault on elderly man

Police in York County are looking for help in identifying the suspect in a violent assault on an elderly man. It happened at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at the Sunoco Gas station, 62 North Main Street in Stewartstown Borough.

The elderly man, who was customer pumping gas, suffered fractured ribs. His injuries were severe enough to be treated at a local emergency room.  Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect and the vehicle he drove away from the scene.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Southern York County Regional Police Sgt. Darryl L. Smuck, II at (717) 235-3944 ex 121.

    Really? Nov 19th and you are only now releasing the photo and asking for help….. good lord, I am glad that were jumping right on things to get them solved…
