Woman arrested after motel stabbing incident in New Kingstown

A New Cumberland woman is facing charges after a man was stabbed last week at motel in Cumberland County. The incident happened Tuesday night at the Cumberland Valley Motel located along the first block of East Main Street in New Kingstown.

Jaime R. Brenneman, 34, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.

According to police reports, Brenneman stabbed 42-year-old Allen Dick multiple times during a domestic dispute at the motel. He was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Brenneman was arrested Sunday and taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb 12.
