A multi-vehicle accident leaves a Carlisle woman dead in Silver Spring Township Tuesday evening.

State police say Aaron King, 26, was traveling the wrong way, going north, on I-81 south around 8 p.m., near Exit 114 in Cumberland County.

A tractor trailer, driven by 54-year-old Stephan Foksha, was driving in the south right hand lane when he seen King coming. Foksha tried to swerve left and sideswiped another man in a Subaru police said.

The Subaru had a passenger and two kids inside, police said  no one was injured in that vehicle.

After the collision, the tractor-trailer and King’s 1997 Oldsmobile smashed head on. Kings vehicle spun out of control before coming to a rest in the median. Cumberland County Coroner’s Office did pronounce King dead at the scene.

Foksha sustained a leg injury and was treated on scene.

Police are investigating as to why King was traveling in the wrong direction. If anyone has any information they are asked to contact State police at 717-249-2121.

He didn't "seen" King coming. He SAW King coming.

True enough and it was a man, not a woman who was killed. Ms. Orr has an English problem as well as a proofreading problem.

No, it was a woman. Every news article, as well as friends of the victim have stated that it was a woman who was killed in the crash. Aaron is a girl's name too, even if in this case it is smelled differently.
