York City Police cruiser heavily damaged in crash

A York City Police officer escapes injury when the cruiser he was driving crashes in downtown York.  It happened at about 2 this afternoon near the intersection of West Philadelphia and North George Streets.

The officer was reportedly responding to a call.  The cruiser was heavily damaged and was towed from the scene.

    And he was probably driving at a high rate of speed responding to that call. I know they need to get where they are going but york city police drive way to fast!

    Probably making a left turn onto phila st from geo st. Bad news always.
