A Harrisburg woman was tasered and arrested after she attacked a police officer. It happened Thursday afternoon at the Red Roof Inn in Susquehanna Township. Police were called to assist someone who had fallen in the shower. When police got to the room, they detected a strong odor of marijuana in the room and on the man who answered the door, Nathaniel Shannon.  Police discovered Shannon was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  As they put handcuffs on Shannon, a woman in the room attacked one of the officers, punching him several times before she was subdued with a taser. Kirstie Hall, of Harrisburg, was also taken into custody.  Shannon was charged with possession of small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and released on summons.  Hall was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Terroristic Threats, and Disorderly Conduct.  She was arraigned at Night Court and placed in Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail.

Wow. The numbers of people who attack or try to outrun officers is staggering. You have a better chance of winning the big jackpot in a lottery than getting away scott-free from actions like that.

Thanks for your support. Some local "news" is mind-blowing.

There are a few regular posters who think I'm illogical or insane but, hey, it usually takes one to know one.

Arrested for smoking pot, wow I feel safer already. Good thing my tax dollars aren't being wasted arresting real criminals.

The dude was at a motel where other people must breathe and use the room afterward. The chick was arrested for her violence. What's the problem esco? So, who fell in the shower?
