A daring early morning burglary at a home along the 600 block of North George Street in North York Borough. The victim told police that at around 7:21 am this morning she was upstairs in her home when she heard the chimes hanging on her door sounding. She then heard the door shut.
The homeowner went downstairs to investigate and found that the window leading into the kitchen was open. She did not see anyone running away or in the general area. She did discover that her purse and its contents had been taken from the kitchen area.
