All Restrictions Lifted on ​PA Turnpike


Turnpike Now Open Between Gettysburg Pike and Harrisburg West.

The Pa. Turnpike Commission and Pa. State Police have lifted all speed and trailer restrictions on the entire turnpike. And, the Turnpike is now open between the Gettysburg Pike (Exit #236) and Harrisburg West (Exit #242) in both directions. This area was closed since about 11 p.m. last night due to a fatal accident.
The Turnpike Operations Center and Maintenance Department will continue monitoring the weather and treating the roadway as needed. All travelers should keep alert for changing conditions and emergency crews working on the roadway.
