A York City man and a juvenile face charges after police discover drugs and a stolen handgun in their vehicle. Northern York County Regional Police stopped the vehicle at about 1:40 am Saturday morning in the parking lot of a motel in the 300 block of Arsenal Road in Manchester Township.

While talking with the two, identified as Ethan Fountain, 19, and a 17 year old male, the officer saw a small baggie of marijuana laying on the seat of the vehicle. After asking the two to exit the vehicle, the officer also saw a black handgun laying on the floor.  Upon checking the gun it was discovered that it had been reported stolen out of York City.

Charges against Fountain include, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages.

The juvenile was charged with Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages.
