The Cumberland County emergency services are beginning to notice that roof vents on modular homes are becoming clogged or covered-over due to the high volume of snow accumulation.   It is important that any resident that has a roof vent checks their vent to make sure it is clear of snow to prevent an unscheduled shut down of their furnace and/or the increase of carbon monoxide within their home.  Remember to also check your carbon monoxide and smoke detectors to ensure they are functioning properly.
