A Chambersburg man was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges, police said.
Larvene V. Wilson, 67, reportedly uploaded child pornography material to his Facebook account earlier this month. Per the company’s policy, a Facebook employee captured the image and forwarded the information to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Wilson’s IP address and residence was tracked down afterwards, police said.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Wilson’s residence Wednesday and seized his computer and other items as evidence.
Wilson is expected to be charged with multiple additional counts of child pornography based on the evidence found.
While searching Wilson’s home, police also found numerous sickly animals, one of which was dead. Charges are expected to be filed against Wilson for cruelty to animals.
Wilson was taken to Franklin County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
