Carlisle Police seek “person of interest” in W. Pomfret street shooting

As part of their ongoing investigation of last Thursday’s shooting in the first of block of West Pomfret Street, Carlisle Police are seeking to question the owner of a car that was allegedly used as a getaway vehicle. The vehicle is a 1998 Buick Century with PA registration JLM8742.

The vehicles’ owner, whom police describe for now, as a “person of interest” is identified as 23 year old old Chase J. Godfrey.  Police is at this point it is unknown whether Godfrey was with his vehicle at the time of the shooting.

The vehicle was seen on downtown surveillance cameras.
