Utah mother says shirts are ‘indecent,’ buys them all

UTAH– A mom said she was so disgusted by a t-shirt display at a store called PacSun, that she bought every t-shirt they had.

Judy Cox told KTVX that she “stopped dead in her tracks” when she saw the shirts that had a picture of a nearly naked woman on them.

Judy said she asked the manager to take down the display; the manager said she would email the complaint to her corporate managers.

But, Judy said she couldn’t wait that long, so she bought every single t-shirt that she found questionable.

She bought all 19 T-shirts in stock, for a total of $567.  She plans to return them later, toward the end of the store’s 60-day return period.

The store said Judy Cox was the only one who complained. Read more on the story HERE.

She bought them so that a minor wouldn’t come in and buy them. Idiot. Good job on her part to make this statement to the company. She’s returning them to get he love 500 dollars back after she can talk to corporate to get them taken off the shelves permanently. Wow, do you have a brain??

Buy them to return them less than 60 days later? What a moron! What exactly does she plan to prove by doing this?!?!

Does that make it right?! NO!! I’m sick of the world being OK with making women objects and some women also encouraging this either by participation or opinion. Sorry but just because “it happens all the time” does NOT mean its OK. People kill each other all the time, children get verbally and physically abused “all the time”….it does NOT make it morally acceptable at ANY time!!

There's nearly naked women in posters…..magazines……catalogs………TV shows (to name a few). Does she plan to buy all of those every time she sees them also?!?!

The point is, advertising a half naked woman on ANYTHING should be stopped! The age groups that shop at PacSun are minors to ppl in their early 30s (mostly) if underage ppl shop at a store, things like this should not be on the shelf! To make matters worse, I used to work at a clothing store, and we received some stock. It consisted of 6 men’s t-shirts. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the box…black t-shirts with little airplanes all over the front and in the middle of the front of the shirt, in giant red letters it read, “FLY TO DEATH”!!! in a post 9-11 world, that was totally uncalled for and offensive beyond belief!!
