A woman and her dog had to be rescued from an Adams County home after part of the roof collapsed Friday morning. Rescue personnel were dispatched around 10 a.m. to the 3500 block of Carlisle Road in Huntington Township.

The unidentified woman was not injured.  She is staying with a relative for the time being.

Authorities say the home had been deteriorating for a long time.

Another news channel states hole under it,could that mean sinkhole? If you got trapped in 8 ft. sinkhole now,100 years from now scientist would estimate you came here with Lewis and Clark. If i were Kathy i would seek help from Habitat for Humanity ,get placed in a new or refurbished structure.
