A video camera captured the moment when a trash collector in Oregon saw that an American flag had been blown from its pole.
The video, which has gone viral, shows Jeremy Fischer gently folding the flag and then leaving it on the homeowner’s porch.
“I figured, since so many people have died for that, the least I could do is pick it up,” Fischer said.
